The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health is a significant contributor to Canada’s health care systems. Federal, provincial, and territorial health care decision makers rely on CADTH to provide them with credible, impartial advice and evidence-based information about the effectiveness and efficiency of drugs and other health technologies. An independent agency, CADTH is funded by Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial governments.
CADTH is accountable to Canada’s Conference of Deputy Ministers of Health through a 13-member Board of Directors. Program-specific Advisory Committees assist the Board as well as members of staff. A five-member Executive Management Group oversees the day-to-day operations of CADTH.
