The Common Drug Review (CDR) conducts objective, rigorous reviews of the clinical and cost effectiveness of drugs, and provides formulary listing recommendations to the publicly funded drug plans in Canada (except Québec).
Canada’s public drug plans differ in terms of the people whom they serve and the drugs that they cover, but all need answers to critical questions for each new drug.
The CDR helps inform and support drug plan decisions by providing equal access to timely evidence-based information and expert advice.
