Uptake of COMPUS Messages and Tools: as of September 2009

Several ready-to-use tools are available to help decision makers and educators convey key messages on insulin analogues. These tools are being widely used across Canada and below are some examples of the uptake and impact of our work:

*Evidence-based, one-on-one educational intervention provided to a physician in his or her office by a trained health care professional.

Implementation of COMPUS products and messages will occur over time, and not uniformly across Canada. A number of factors are involved in implementing interventions, including scheduling, budgeting, identifying resources, and unique jurisdictional requirements.
